We visited yet another church today. One that my son’s friend attends. We were welcomed warmly and enjoyed the sermon. The church membership was warm, but it will not be home.
It is interesting as we visit churches how they all seem to be entrenching at the moment, there is at least some discussion at each about the “other” or the “denomination” they are not. Much question as to whether the other christians are truly following the Bible…..
I find it all wearying. I simply want to follow God’s word, work on being a better follower, and love others…..and perhaps have the benefits of other older couples and women to help me with questions I have or have travelled paths we are facing.
God is good, and I am thankful I am His.
