Love that I looked up at the calendar and realized I was a day off, its the 7th, not the 6th in my reading of Home Sanctuary with Rachel Anne! Even better, I have two things handled…even if the loo is a day late….it can never be done often enough in son’s space…. Our goal was to set one work goal and then to set the reward for the work accomplished. My work for Company Girl will be to take 15 minutes to walk the house to find the remaining Christmas decor that seems to disappear each time I walk through with the storage boxes, yet glowingly smile at me the next time I come through without them…..it’s as though they hide from storage (how do you miss seeing a 2 foot tall Christmas tree in the restroom???)…..and for taking the time to get the box down from the attic to get the remaining few things, I’ll reward myself with a 1:00 date with myself after lunch to read, relax and perhaps even nap until 1:30 p.m. Four came early this morning and nothing says loving to me like an after lunch nap ….preferably knowing the kitchen counter is wiped, dinner is planned and that thirty minutes is my own to use to refresh me!
Edit at 10:35 a.m. the reward was homemade cinnamon rolls with Miss Madison….because its fun to bake together!
