It seems to me that many folks spend their time taking in only what they can see. The problem with that mentality is that what we can see if often clouded by our limited perspective. The factors of that view may be skewed and/or temporary. Last week when I flew to Minneapolis it was storming locally as we took off, but within moments the few was a picture of blue skies and lovely sunshine. Same location, just from a different perspective.
How often do we muddy the view of our existence by our limited perspective? If one enters my kitchen after a few days absence, one might think the house needs to be condemned. However, if the same visitor comes the day before the trip, he/she might only feel the owner is at the least, not focused on a clean kitchen but the call to condemn the home would most likely not be called.
Perspective.
What do you allow in your daily life? What value do you give what you do, how you do it, and why you would wish to in your daily life choices? Is it time to shake up that conversation and put the dice on the table again to see what is there? Fall is a great time for letting go. For realizing what is no longer growing you or serving your life and the relationships you hold dear.
What are the choices before you? Perhaps the sky isn’t blue right now, but you can see how adjusting a few things here and there can change that perspective until your days are sunny again! Choosing is a choice…empower your life by choosing choices that work for you.
