The joy of having a twelve year old at home is that she thinks up the neatest things to do when we’re through with lessons….or in some cases, instead of lessons……today it was a tasty treat for finishing! How fun was it to know this morning that there were 10 quarts of chicken broth, homemade soup, and one chicken and dressing in the fridge waiting to go to the freezer….this specially for son Chaser, who loves all things chicken and dumplings or soups….

Its a good day when an hour worth of effort, produces several meals worth of joy!

I really enjoyed your post “Report Card”. What a blessing it is to have a man that feels led to provide and doesn’t belittle his wife for not helping out. I too am blessed with a man like this and am enjoying my time at home with my little one.
