What is it that you seek to create today. Each day the artist within us is called to see with vision that which is before us and to call forth from our existence the art that is our life. What will you create in your life, how will it honor God? The roads are sometimes many and so very overwhelming, yet we are created to co create our existence each day in a God honoring way. To love beyond reason and to know that He loves us and it.is.enough.
I am a creative, creating comes easily to me, it is an expression of my deepest love for living, for self, and for others, but creating is not simply brushes on canvases or music on pianos or calligraphy on walls…it is a love for living that allows in each circumstance to find the canvas, to be wherever it is you are with love. There is poetry in numbers, there is music in well orchestrated diagrams, art has so many forms of beauty in its creation.
Too often we believe the world’s view that our works might should be affirmed by those we gift our love to. The Jesus I knew loved us even when we didn’t love Him back and he still does…. Our burden is to remember, to hope, to have faith that despite whatever it is we are facing, God has a plan for our good through it. We create the moment of comfort, of understanding, of service, of giving, of being fully present, of lifting, or feeding or whatever there is to be in front of us with the most beautiful brush we can use to bring forth beauty, peace, and love for another in the moment.
Every stage of my life has shown me that our canvas renews daily and each day we can choose….for choosing is a choice….to create a life we seek to live.
