My experiences:
1. I have degrees in Gifted Education, Special Education (Behavior disordered), and Mathematics Pk-12. An educator for over 15 years, a homeschooler for 3 now…
2. I am a stepmother, mom, and advocate for blended families in a ministry called A Joyful Place Called Home, which helps stepfamilies learn to be families and how to work on overcoming and healing the pain of divorce.
3. I am a professional consultant for special populations education, as well write and ghostwrite for speakers and authors, grantwork etc (I work from home) (areas of specialty, autism spectrum, aspergers syndrom, behavior disorders, learning disabilities) btw…need help with a question….email….I truly don’t mind.
4. My husband has deployed twice in the last 36 months while 3 (one at college) children were at home and I lived to tell about it.
5. As a wife and mom in a blended family of six, seven years down the road, I have walked many of the difficult roads of helping new families overcome the many many challenges they face as a blended family and second (or third) marriage.
and if anyone has the answer to how a creative bright gal can overcome her absolute lack of consistent effort for keeping a home presentable…..let me know!
We are a blended family as well. My hubby has three from his first marriage, I’ve got one from my first and then we have four together.
