Its not my quiet Monday morning. Chaser woke up ill today, dear husband is in Colorado, and even Bingley is fussy today.
The morning will be one of home blessing chores and cooking. It is always a good day for me when I have chores that can allow me to start them and finish writing other projects while I listen for timers in the kitchen. Its sort of a slow revolving waltz of activity from desk in office to oven to dryer….and my home is organized so that the triangle between the three work.
Daughter is finishing up her unit on Fall leaves and photosynthesis….she has enjoyed its rubbings, creating the art that supports the impressionist views of leaves, looking up the science of it all and doing the experiments to support the whole concepts of it. I do love homeschooling her.
This week is a busy one in our area. There is a great horse championship going on down the road and the county fair starts Thursday night. The weekend will hold excitement as well for daughter as she flies to her Uncle Bob’s in Allen, Texas this weekend. We’re beginning to see pumpkins for sale and the leaves are barely beginning to show that fall is here.
God whispers to me during this time that like the leaves, I need to let things fall away from me and prepare for new beginnings next spring….after a time of rest…
God is good
