It is truly interesting to me how it affects me that someone had the gall to break into my car in my driveway. Its a feeling of violation and one that I do not enjoy.
This weekend was quiet, we visited yet two more churches, two…..one that we had hoped would be “it” and for many reasons it wasn’t “it” at all for us. The other, we enjoyed a kindred fellowship, but were overwhelmed with the church body’s size.
Today I am facing the messiest house yet since we moved in and that includes the day of the boxes….ugh. The air is crisp outside, the police are coming by to fingerprint my car (there are many) so I am without transportation and freedom from home today. We have a JV game tonight and know that there are two more to go so we have to enjoy them while they last.
I am weary today. Not physically tired, but weary of things being up in the air. We have several situations that are just unsolveable for the moment, but up in the air….I am ready for them to be settled. God is good though and my blessings so very full that I simply must keep my mind where it belongs and not allow the uneasiness to take over…after all, the only resting we all have is in the Lord….for his is good!

Argh. I'm sorry that happened. I know exactly how you feel. I remember the effect of having my truck broken into last summer. Right outside my window & then stealing my XM and our DVD player. You just feel (or I felt) utter disbelief-why? how? what motivates someone to take what isn't theirs… (((hugs)))
I hope this week brings some calm to your world. I know the answers are always on time–but gosh, that waiting is the hardest part.
