Monday morning homework at the table…..ah, the joys of 15 and believing projects can be done quickly when the reality is he needed two hours.
Church was wonderful yesterday, I so enjoy being refreshed, given an awareness that draws me closer to the Father, and fellowship that isn’t simply social, but fellowship that truly commits to one another in prayer and in presence……
The tree is decorated and now the outside lights on the porch are up. We use 3 little aspen pine trees on our stoop and light them for a simple greeting at our door.
Dh and I had dinner at Chili’s last night and I so enjoyed time to simply catch up with each other and to discuss plans for the next few years for our finances, our lives, and our dreams. It is good when we take the time to simply be with one another, but it is also meaningful when we set other things aside to make commitments to our future as a couple and family together.
The children have this week in school (well Chase) then 4 days next week. We have very few interruptions to family life at home during those days, but it all seems so busy!
