Thankful for this day. For promises fulfilled and a story celebrated. It’s not the day, or hour, and this celebration’s date was probably orchestrated as we humans do-but the baby…the child…the forever fulfilled gift of life…of connection, of hope and hardship, life giver and yet … we celebrate today, an immaculate birth, a hardship faced, honor of a young woman upheld when her betrothed had a fantastic story to take in and face. My heart leaps when even Elizabeth’s John leapt for joy in His presence in her womb. May we all trust such unlikely miracles for God works through unbroken promises and going home by another way as James would say when life is after you. This morn of Christmas may you be find hope and wonder at the gifts, in the love and peace created and meant as your gift this morning. Christ is born.
