When I was in Northwest Arkansas sharing a delightful breakfast with the oldest of the lovely princesses I have adopted in my chosen family…..she politely corrected my title of Queen Mother to all my younger friend/moms/momtrepeneurs to Queen Mum to Most. All things considered, she’s probably right….although my dear husband said truth is I’m Empress Emeritis which may indeed be more me, the day my daughter was born my father informed me I had been dethroned as queen….yet I still advise the queens and princesses in my world, I chose to downsize from the castle to my wonderful cottage…and the amenities of a life well lived are still in my reach. I still enjoy a public life as well as my private existence away from the crowds. I love my life, and on this recent trip, learned that indeed I love to find crowns of all types and sizes….my logo and company signature involve dotting my “i” with a pink crown, and indeed it is very me. In adulthood I realized we all are living the royal life when we choose to accept Jesus as our Savior….and a sparkly bobble or two does no harm either. Do you figure that the Electrical Engineers of the world woud mind if we stopped using EE as a educational signoff for them but substituted HREE as a title? (Her Royal Empress Emeritus)
Somehow I dont think its going to get the laundry done round here….but the crown wearing may make it more fun!
