The Concept:
As smart women we know that boundaries are often not only empowering but so very very protective of the ideals, activities, and people we hold most dear. The grass may look greener on the other side of the productivity fence… if I can just get x,y, or z done first I’ll rest we tell ourselves. Let me assure you, when we forget to honor our self-care boundaries, we often get hit by the eighteen wheeler of life going too fast….and saddest of all, too often it was ourself who was driving the choices that led to self-destruction.
The Challenge:
What boundaries do you have in place in your personal life that are working for you? How can you reward yourself for the wisdom of engaging in decisions that are supportive of self care? This week your challenge is to look into your own life as though you were assessing just how good you are to you. What are you proud of you doing? What would you, as consultant, share with you about areas of your daily life that may need additional care? How would boundaries that support self care afford you a wealth of living?
We lead by doing, our best teachings are taught when caught in action in our lives.~Sweetie
