Once again I am thankful for children who think, but boy does one of ours try my patience! Son2 is the social boy, the one who wants to “belong” and the one who challenges me toes to every line I draw. I rely on God to give me patience and wisdom with that one.
This morning after taking said son to SAturday school for too many tardies (now go figure how that happens when he arrives 24-25 minutes EARLY each morning) we came home to a quiet breakfast and an old western movie. Its nice by the fireplace this morning.
Son1 called and reported he’s working on a bowl filming and a John Deere commercial next week as part of his college studies in video production. He is excited and I am glad for him.
Dh is hoping to do a truck trade with a the rebates going on…..new car fever I’d say and a serious case of it at that. My Honda is over 200,000 miles now and I’d prefer to keep it just as it is for a while….unless I find another one that is payable in cash again.
God is good….I am thankful today for healthy children, a fabulous husband and even the little black and white dogs who so entertain me.

I wish we could have new car fever, but it just isn't in the cards. Both vehicles have well over 200k miles and the van is falling a part, but right now we just can't afford anything. I hope your husband loves his new toy!
Blessings!
