The last two weeks I have been on location in Atlanta, Nashville, and Tupelo and while I love being with my clients, I love being home.
Last night Madison had a sleep over with her Sunday school teacher and class, they played broom hockey at the skating rink then went to the farm for the sleepover. She loved the time with her teacher and friends
It is bitterly cold here at 20 degrees…we saw a single mom having a yard sale on the way home in this bitter windy day…she said she had made $11, $5 of which was ours….so many struggle for Christmas that ARE working full time and trying hard to make Christmas work out…
Please remember the single moms today in your gifts and prayers, I was one of those for several years and even working full time as a teacher, it was very hard to make ends meet at the holidays….sometimes the gifts come but food in the house is scarce! I know in my world it was a humbling experience and what a joy when others invited us to dine with them for chili at their homes…or to take us out after church for the fellowship!
God is good…we are blessed…help us to remember we are here to love others and care for them!
