Today we had an absolute blast. First breakfast at our hotel with a waffle machine, then swimming, then the picnic lunch together. This afternoon we swam again, rested, then hit the outlet malls for the afternoon….I didn’t buy anything until we hit the purse store, but then I ended up buying two very very on sale bags and one duffle. We went to dinner at TGI Friday’s, everyone had steak but D2, and she had ribs and we were all stuffed! We sight saw and enjoyed seeing all the hullaballo of the Gaitlinburg and Pigeon Forge strips, then came back to the room and swam again as a family. The nicest family was swimming with us with children exactly our children’s ages, so that made it twice as nice swimming. The sugar snacks abounded for them all by 9 pm but I stayed true to my yogurt instead, but boy oh boy was the fudge shop hard to ignore today!
Tomorrow we are having breakfast, then church, then to the Aquarium (we ran out of steam tonight) and then go carting, then home 4.5 hours! Its been a joyful time for our family and one I am VERY thankful for. Dh was the photographer today, so he’ll have to be in tomorrow’s pics!
