Our cute youth director announced to the children tonight that she is resigning as youth director. How sad the news! I so applaud she and her husband for choosing what she feels she is lead to do, to come home with her first grader who happens to have Type1 diabetes, and homeschool him. Youth directing is a huge job, especially in a small church where it becomes many more hats than was originally intended, building coordinator, volunteer organizer, two youth groups, trips, personal care of our teenagers…its a full time job on part time hours….combine that with wifehood and motherhood and ooooh lala.
Sad news to end the already long day on. Mrs. Goofy and I have a play date on Tuesday afternoon….so there’s that to look forward to!
