Saturday was just simply so good I wanted to squeal at bedtime! A slow morning, then late morning yard sailing with Madison, followed by lunch with Dh, then a short nap. An afternoon at the Botanical Garden with Madison and Les. We then were surprised with a “date night” adventure of dinner at Landry’s Seafood…..so unexpected and so one of my very favorite restaurants in Dallas (how many years was our date night sharing a 1/2 price drink at sonic between 3 and 4?)…I had no idea that Huntsville had a Landry’s too! Sharing creme brulee’ with 3 spoons (Madi, DH and I) by candlelight is a memory that will not soon fade, oh how we shared! God is good and He so spoiled me this week! I did indeed find bargains at the yard sailing yesterday…..two new pairs of shoes (Bandalino for $9 2 brand new pairs!, a Liz Clairborne suit in just my shade of pink and size for $3! A pocket watch dome with hook for showing off my grandad’s watch .25cents, a tupperware 2 qt bowl that matched my lid for .25 cents, A Le Croiseaux 7 qt soup pan, a large glass cookie jar for $4, and a Nine West purse for $3!) It was such a fun time with Madison too! Later Les met us and finished up chores with us.
Miss Madison is singing her very first duet this morning. (edit: She did GREAT! I am so proud for her…she faced her fear of publically singing and honored God in the faith that He could get her through it and sang her praises to do so!)
