We went and saw Son2 off to Team Sports Camp for his beloved football team. Of course we had to have the usual last moments of “oh my gosh, where is _____” in this case, his sleeping bag. Some of us are more thankful than others for Big Lots Sunday sales this morning at 8:55 a.m. Just saying.
Daughter 2 and I are heading to the church tonight for her fellowship. I had made the best laid plans for dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Goofy then Dh got called in for work. We decided to reschedule so we could all be together! Its a bummer though, I had looked soooo forward to their visit and to meeting Mr. Goofy.
I am only firing on pilot lights today, I almost did another scheduling disaster when I was so excited that Mrs. Goofy was available I almost forgot we have out of state guests coming tomorrow! They would have arrived some 8 hours later to find me in Northern Alabama or shopping with my friend….oops! Thankfully Mrs. Goofy is laid back and alright with her schedule impaired friend.
Dh is the most magnificient husband again…..(didn’t know you could do it twice in one week) He not only turned a pine cupboard into a cabinet shelf system for MK, he’s going to paint it to fit in my kitchen as though it is a jelly jar cabinet, so it will be near my office and yet fit in as furniture. He rocks!
God has been so blessing us in creative ways, we’ve had so many people put in our paths this week and such great fellowship with other new to us Christians…I am thankful!
