Yesterday I ventured out with the help of my friend Gerrie to our lady’s Bible study. I was thankful to be out with the girls. My Bible study group is generally a decade to three older than I am, and so its like having you favorite role models in one room learning and sharing with you.
I am more consistently seeing out of my left eye now. I cannot focus much of the day but I am having longer periods of focus for 7-15 minutes then it goes fuzzy again.
Today I am thankful for verses that show Jesus wanting to step away with the disciples to rest, but seeing the needs of the crowds who had run ahead to be where they were “getting away to” had mercy and taught them….when they where hungry he fed them drawing on strength from the Father to face the task at hand. Jesus’s yoke is easy because we can draw on his same strength, that from our Almighty God to get us through the moments in our lives when we might prefer to slip away and rest….I need God’s strength right now and I am thankful he is omnipresent to draw on.
God is good! All the time
