That question that stops me dead in my tracks. I was in the church office and a kindly soul asked…..”I see you doing computer things, singing, Mary Kay, training, Homeschooling, writing …..what exactly is it that you don’t do?”
How the heck does one define that life which is mine?
I guess it comes off that I can do anything…..and alot…..but truth is its more like I do what needs to be done, what is asked of me….and what God has gifted me to do…..but mostly I do what I can, where I am, if I am able….and alot of times I simply am just doing whatever it takes to make our life at home work.
You really shouldn’t be impressed.
Sometimes I truly want to answer, “Please don’t put me on some special pedestal, for you really don’t see what I don’t get done”
but somehow I suspect that wouldn’t work either.
so instead I simply answer…..the dishes.
