Got a date today….yes, and the husband is out of town…..but today I’ll sit at home and wait for this man…….all day.
Yesterday was a yummy day, I had breakfast with my friend and then got her on the road. I watched hallmark and classics all day while working around the house casually……later a mid afternoon bubble bath….what a quiet, relaxing day.
Dh is having a good trip in Oklahoma. He has spent time with his Grandpa Bresnehen, his parents and Grandma Berry, and Granny. Yesterday he spent some time at his cousin Stayce’s farm shoveling corn cobs……a good time in the city tonight.
My hot date today is with the Sears man…..my ice maker is sporatically shooting ice out of its shoot….my thoughts are that the floor is in cahoots with it to get mopped more often, but its rather unsettling to suddenly hear the avalanche of ice hit the floor in the kitchen when no one is in there.
Today is the last day of quiet and respite, tomorrow I will excitedly drive to pick up the children….seven hours with two little black and white dogs….and then a night in Arkansas so I can spend Thanksgiving lunch with my father. I hope my date comes early so I can go walk some stores for ideas this afternoon.
