A chill is in the air this morning. I can almost hear the horses panting and the steam rising from them as Madison and I load to go to the National Racking Horse Associations championship today. Its only day 3 of their preliminaries, but the girl and I will go and enjoy in awe these fine animals.
Yesterday’s soup turned out well. Madison and I had fresh milled cornbread to go with it and will look forward to it again when we get in tonight. Chaser played the entire game at the JV game in Hazel Green last night. He came home exhuasted, asthma free, and glad he had gone to school at noon after getting over yesterday morning’s asthma issues. Dh is not faring so well in Colorado. He sounds as though there is so much liquid in his head he is under water. I know he must feel miserable. Keep him in your prayers today and thank God for healing him!
God continues to whisper each day….to give him control, to let go of the future, to allow each step to be his……all things I want to do, but it takes fighting my flesh every step of the way not to take the reins again….why is it we humans think we are so capable of being in charge?
God bless you!
Sweetie
