Yesterday went by quickly. I scrambled and got to the Bible study just as it started. You know how you can tell yourself every reason why not to go….it was one of those mornings…but God just kept whispering “come” and I was so glad He did.
We’re under artic cold conditions in Northern Alabama this week. Daughter decided it was too cold for geriatric lab Sadie and her last pup Honey….the black and white fluffs already have the hallway by the laundry deeded and titled as “their” space (mainly due to warm floors from the dryer) so the labs were with us. US you say, Les is in Colorado….yes indeed but my sidekick Madison moves in for the bunking party when Dad is away….and this round it was one daughter, two labs, and mom in one getting smaller by the minute full size bed. Sadie moved herself to the loveseat in the night, having enough of this juvenile stuff…..but Honey…Honey just couldn’t get comfortable when finally Madison got her her own blanket to which I just knew she wouldn’t sit for…but it turns out she was chilled….and snores loudly once asleep.
Life’s an adventure at this house…..always….The labs have already passed the message to the fluffs that this hotel serves scrambled eggs if you’re patient….
