What can you accomplish in a #15minutemiracle moment?
This ole world has so much going on that for many folks, it’s become a habit for me that on Monday mornings I focus on #15MinuteMiracles all day. What do I mean by that? I mean I decide some actions that would bring peace to my environment, my desk, my home, or my heart and I set the timer and just begin. What are some of the #15minute miracles that I choose?
- spend time with the Lord
- clean the counters in the master bath
- pick up the trash from all rooms
- start a load of clothes
- spend time in a book
- spend time
- fold a load of clothes
- pay the bills
- call a friend
- write a card or letter
- pick up the car
- make a wonderful salad for later
- clean out a drawer
- pick up hangers all over the house
- clear my desk off
- update the calendar for our family for myself
- paint my fingernails
- Find 10 things to share with others
- Write in my journal
- plan the week’s menu
- make my bed or change my sheets
- organize my planner
- make appointments
For me the process is not beginning what cannot be completed in 15 minutes. Most of my jobs may require more than 15 minutes, so then I break down a specific task until that part of the task can be celebrated at the end of that fifteen minutes.
Celebrate?
Yes! I need to celebrate that I can set and accomplish goals. It’s a way I restore my trust in myself, restore my ability to change what needs changing until my day works.
Celebrating changes the chemistry in our minds and the tone of our heart. What are you celebrating each day? Do you take time to admire and appreciate the effort of others? The efforts you do? It matters!
Let us become edifying hearts and encouraging presences in our own lives and in the lives of others!
I can’t wait to hear what you’re doing for your #15MinuteMiracles today!
love,
