Today Madison and I are in Georgia together. I have a client near Atlanta in Canton and they are kind enough to allow me to bring Madison on the days we are working on location.
While I worked, Madison shopped downtown Canton and found a wonderful store called Viva Beads, which are handmade beads in a local shop. She picked out two bracelets for us as an early Christmas gift to remember our day together….how sweet!!!
Next it was on to our hotel, the Wingate by Wynham which gloriously was provided by Priceline for $35!!!! We had a suite in a wonderful location right by the North Point Mall so we were 3 minutes from the American Girl Store, Madison’s location favorite destination

Then it was on to shopping and Christmas looking for both of us….I have to say I love being with my children 1 on 1…and Madison makes every trip an absolute treasure…
We had executive privilege at the hotel banquet buffet so we enjoyed buffalo wings and shrimp as a early evening snack…then being girls…my girl had a hunger for a burger later so we did a pajama run to Wendy’s which was nearby in the ccc - oo – l ll — dddd!!! We got back to the room in time to put in a Christmas movie so it was a great girl’s day!
Tomorrow morning I work locally for another 3 to 4 hours while Madison enjoys doing the rest of the downtown shops and hanging out at the cute bookstore we visit when we’re here……they make the best chicken salad we’ve ever had!!! Then on the road by two for home….with brochures for our next Girl’s Trip to Georgia!
