Being 44

Means today is my birthday, and my stepson’s birthday
it means….
Waking up to homemade breakfast from Dh and a wonderful card
Not having to remember was I 43 or 42, 44 is MUCH easier!
pink mule dockers in just my size
three made me roll with laughter cards from Miss Bobbie
girlie girl movie picks at home and Dh will sit through them with me
the best tamales I’ve ever found since leaving New Mexico and El Paso
German chocolate cake for stepson who is 19 today.
Cleaning up the kitchen after the dears had made breakfast….ewww
Being terribly thankful for all that today involves!
