Company Girls Coffee 2.06.09 P.S. post

Yesterday I was challenged by Rachel Anne to flirt outrageously with my husband. Little did she know we had our Friday night date in a few hours. What fun it was to add a bit of kick to the date by not being home when he arrived, so when he called enroute home to surprise me by coming in early, I surprised him by having a plan and already being there…..a new restaurant near us….as he pulled in, I was leaning on the jeep in clothes that could be in no way defined as a “mommy outfit” and the night began. We had a great time at dinner and went to a movie, then enjoyed going home early and as soon as he entered our room , dear husband was wowed by the simple things we’d been challenged to do the last few days….I had made a full, romantic shower curtain for our previously sad looking bathroom, added new towels that feel like a spa, had changed out linens, fluffed the pillows and cleared the surfaces, added a few candles and our home spa suite was born.
Little things, done along the way this week, but oh what a difference! Our lives are full of such opportunities!

God is good, and I am thankful for a wonderful date night last night!

Hey! Thanks for stopping by our blog. It was great to meet another Company Girl!

Sounds like your date night was fabulous. 😉 My flirting turned out pretty well too. He he.

What a great idea for the valentine party. I am having one next Fri for 5 little ones but I never thought about doing it the week before to make cards to give out. Next year I may do that.

Sounds like a great date night! Things have been crazy around our house so I'm thinking it might be time for one of those once I'm back on my feet again.

I sure enjoy your blog. I am a writer at heart too. My blog has allowed a creative outlet for me to share some of my thoughts. Some day I hope to put a book of devotions together.

    Blessings!
    Melissa

The valentine's cards look great, I've got to make mine tonight and tomorrow, makes them that much more special when they're made with love:)
