The travellers are leaving today, one for Oklahoma, two for Arkansas, and one coming in from Arkansas tomorrow…..its a busy morning.
Friday Felicities ( in honor and memory of Nattie)
1. Fireplaces that are glowing when I wake up on a cold wintery morning.
2. High Schoolers who come and share our Thursday evening with us.
3. The look on son’s face when he finds 3 egg nogs in the fridge….glee!
4. My husband’s crinkly smile when he catches sight of me
5. A daughters ever present help with no complaining when the count is down
Son2 has blisters all over his interior mouth today, a quick check and its probably hand, foot and mouth virus…of which there is no treatment and its simply uncomfortable. The question is now whether or not he feels like a trip to his grandparents who are willing to risk the exposure.
Thinking through on what to begin cooking for my friend who will arrive Saturday morning, we are laid back girls but I prefer to have good food done for her…..so baking and sweeping and tumbling clothes and finishing their packing…..time to get cracking!
God is good….we must all learn to trust in His goodness.
