Dinner date last night was really appreciated. We went to Logans’ 2 for $12 deal and enjoyed a quiet hour at a corner table to simply catch up with each other, home by 6:30, the children were well able to handle being alone for an hour and a half. We all need to take adult breaks.
Today I have pies to ready for a meal at church tonight and a kitchen that will have to be cleaned first. The children made pizza last night and I know exactly where and how…..but they had fun….flour flew apparently as they rolled it out.
It IS nicer to go to the closet in the mornings now. I am glad that chore is done.
My friend is most likely not able to come after all….which is sad, but it is okay either way. I am ready for quiet music, a little tree time, and the silence being alone brings. God and I will enjoy the time well.
