It is ever painful to be the new girl in town…..even five months down the road…..one hopes to be invited over, to be “found” in the circle…..but truth is these days, most folks don’t take the time to do many of the things they might enjoy doing……so if I am to want to meet others, then perhaps I need to stop waiting for the invitations and begin inviting…..
Growing into lovely…..learning that its time to stop waiting to be invited in and perhaps invite others to belong with me…..

It is so hard to adjust to a new place. I moved to New York after being a Southern girl almost 10 years ago and it has been a big adjustment. Give yourself at least a year to start feeling comfortable. You will find a group! 🙂
