Today is Veteran’s day. For our home that means Les is home today…but more than that it is a day I remember and focus on the four war theaters that I am so very thankful to have had Les come home from as a soldier and Department of Defense Administrator. I know how fortunate and blessed I am that he indeed has been to the front lines and come home unscathed physically….though no one ever sees war up close and personal without it affecting their lives forever.
Today my heart is with those who sacrificed their fathers, husbands, wives, and children to a cause we take for granted…our freedom and democracy and the rights of others to also be treated with democracy.
