Nothing like asthma season and stomach viruses in the house at the same time. 4 for 4, score.

Today was another pretty fallish day and though we were all home and recovering, it was a good day. My friend in Arkansas who is a single Mom had sad news in that her long needed car finally died. Its an inopportune time, she is in school full time, working 3 jobs to go to school and no back up financally….God will have to pull this one out for her. God is God though and He is good.
The decisions of the last week in our family have brought some radical and immediate peace back to our family unit. I am thankful for a God who not only leads you in the direction of peace, but rewards you for obedience each time you obey. I cannot go into details, but I will share that each step of our obedience (Dh and I) to follow the leadings we’ve felt in our hearts, God has indeed surprised us with the way he has solved dilemmas we faced. Praise God. Scary stuff for me, this letting go of control and letting God….but it is indeed submission that brings me peace.

God is good, let us all pray for our nation’s leaders as we are instructed to do!
